Many a night the wife & I sit on our porch (out in the country) and enjoy the peacefullness that surrounds us. With our scanner tuned to 4 different counties, we talk to each other and listen to what is happening around the county, sometimes trying to figure out where "what" is that is being responded to. After listening for so many evenings, we still have no idea things can operate on such a smoothe and PROFESSIONAL level. Thank you EVERYONE in the 911 center along with ALL of the law enforcement officials for everything that is done on a daily basis. Keep up the fantastic work!

I am the President of AFSCME Local 1023 who represents the Detroit 911 Operators, amd I would like to know how you all handle emergency overtime.
