CommentsHi I jsut wanted to let you know that I think that your web site is informative and I was glad to find it. However, I think that it is very difficult to read w/the lettering in pink. I have an oral interview on Friday for a 911 communications operator position. Can you give me any advise? I'm not sure what to expect. I know that there will be five Fire Dept administrators in the interview but that's all I've been told. Any advice that you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
CommentsNice home page, good information. While the print is nice it is somewhat taxing to read certain letters used. Perhaps a less gothic print would be more friendly.

CommentsI think that it is important that the everyday citizens of this community see what goes on in public service. Keep up the good work. The memorial for the fallen officers was wonderful. The people of Laurens County should be proud that you guys put your life on the line so we can live in a better community. Keep up the good work and I'll keep you in my prayers. God Bless.

CommentsA LIFE SAVED. . . Thank you Linda, 9-1-1 staff, and all the dedicated professionals of Laurens County. You provide the citizens of Laurens County and visitors with only the highest in professional emergency services. On November 9, 1989, I learned first hand of the professionalism of Laurens County. That fateful morning I found myself paralized from a fall while deer hunting at "Beaver Dam W.M.A." I knew that I was in trouble that day. But for me, I was lucky to be rescued by two great Laurens Co. professionals, Paramedic Micky Moore and EMT Brenda Horton, with Laurens County EMS. These two special individuals answered the call that early morning and saved this old boy's life. I KNOW! For, I was a 16-year veteran paramedic and I knew that without quick help, this would be my last ambulance ride. Thanks to Laurens County professionals, I survived a devastating injury. After 12 weeks of hospitalization and rehabilitation, I returned home to my wife and three children. Eventhough, I'll never run another ambulance call, I continue to serve as a public servant. Thanks--for EVERYTHING! Joe F. Crumley Director, Tift Co. 9-1-1 Tifton, Georgia 3/18/2000
CommentsI am the Deputy Director for Preston County 911 in Kingwood West Virginia. We are in the process of addressing and mapping so I searched the web. I stumbled upon your website. It said Laurens County. I thought it couldn't be, I grew up in Laurens County, but moved to WV in 1983. And sure enough it was. I am so glad to see that things are well down there. I have been working here for 18 years and haven't really kept up on Dublin much at all. Keep up the good work.
CommentsI'm coming to Dublin on business & bringing my scanner with me. This is a great way to get information.
CommentsHey Miss Linda, Just checked out the Ga Nena web page and thought I would go to your link. Hope to see you in Calloway Gaardens this Fall. Its been to long since we have seen each other. Len
CommentsGREAT WEB SITE!!! MY WIFE IS A 911 OPERATOR IN UPSON COUNTY. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
CommentsI really appreciate all of the tele-communicators for being able to serve Laurens County and for doing it well. I tried it for a month in December,1995, but discovered that I was not among the few that are cut out for that type of work. It takes very special people to do this type of job. Thanks to all of you and God bless you.
CommentsBeing a Telecommunicator myself, with Berkeley County E-911, in South Carolina, I just wanted to say that this is by far the best web page I have seen so far, I really enjoyed the lighter side and yes, being in the profession we are in you do need to see the lighter side from time to time. Keep up the excellent profession you are in, take pride in all that you do, and may god bless and keep us all safe.
CommentsLinda,it was nice to catch up with you .. you take care...... will be in touch....tell 1 when you talk to him thanks also....I'll be 76 back to Georgia in the near future, God willing and the creek don't rise!!
CommentsGood site, very informative and I enjoyed it very much! Good job!!!
