A much needed upgrade to the recording system for the 911 Center has finally been completed. The old system was a Marathon Advanced by ASC.

The new system is a Eventide Digital Voice Logger model VR725.  This is a fourth generation digital logger.

During the process of the purchase, a temporary unit (shown on top) was on loan from QRS. The one on bottom has just had too many hardware failures, it's gotta go.
